Most of you guys and gals out there in cyberspace probably have a printer, right? After all, a printer is more or less a bare necessity in today’s tech savvy world. Whether it be used to print out school assignments which you’ve been grieving over for the past week, or the past hour, or even just for the types out there who really have no use for a printer except to print out cool looking pictures (I’ll leave what “cool” means in everyone’s vocabulary to your imagination)…
So it’s pretty much decided upon that everyone has a printer…or at least access to one somewhere. What about a scanner? That seems to come up on everyone’s list quite often enough even though most people could most probably do without it just fine. Scan that newspaper or magazine article…scan your pictures…scan some homework you are falling behind on…whatever the use may be, there’s always something you can do with a scanner.
Next up, logically, would be a photocopier. Scanning someone’s homework doesn’t make as much sense to me as photocopying it, so this would probably work better anyways (Note: I don’t condone such activity and will not be held responsible for your actions). Better cover me arse heh.
Fax machines? Are they still being used nowadays? Well apparently so. Even though you can send faxes through your computer using a modem quite easily, you have to consider the fact that some people, like myself, don’t exactly have modems; welcome to the world of broadband! Also there’s those printed documents that you don’t really feel like typing up and then faxing, so either having a scanner or a fax machine would probably work best for you.
Well folks, today we have a brand spankin’ new multifunction device sent to us by Samsung Canada. The 4-in-1 device covers printing (in grayscale), scanning (full color), photocopying (grayscale) and even faxing. All those tasks which would normally have taken four devices, has been shrunk down to only one device, and not to mention weighs a lot less then all of them combined.
